Re: New arrival at Wilford Rabbit Refuge
I've decided to call the new girly Holly...a suitably Christmassy name!
She was back at the vets today, and Rachel (our vet) is happy with her progress. We'd only seen a few poops so far and she isn't eating for herself yet, but she seems bright enough and Rachel could feel plenty of poops inside her...so just waiting for them all to come out!!
Please keep your fingers crossed for Holly

Re: New arrival at Wilford Rabbit Refuge
I'm glad to report that Holly is doing much better now. She started nibbling bits of food on Tuesday evening and seems much livelier. I'm still continuing with the meds and syringe feeding for the moment...but it's looking good!

She is lovely, really hope that she continues to make good progress.
And a great name, really suits her.

Latest update 7 January...
I'm really pleased to report that Holly is doing really well. She's a fab hay muncher and her poops are now big and golden. Photos to follow tomorrow
Unfortunately she's got a bit of a problem with excess caecals, but hopefully lots of hay and limited pellets and veg will sort that out.
We haven't had any enquiries about adopting Holly yet, but would be happy for someone to reserve her before she's spayed and vaxd. She's currently indoors, but could move outdoors when the weather warms up.
