Rabbit Residence rescue February update

Post by tabithakat64 »

Very sadly one of our 6 half wild babies passed away whilst being neutered from an embolism today.
Poor Brassa, the loss of one so young is more upsetting somehow :(

So far in 2018 we've rehomed 3 pairs and a trio though which is great as usually pairs and trios end up staying in rescue such a long time. We've also rehomed three single rabbits so a fantastic start to the year although we currently have 70 rabbits on our waiting list :(

Sorry to hear that you lost Kipcha, one of the half wildie babies :(
Pleased you have had some rehomings to start off the year. :)
Perhaps the bad weather has put off potential adoptees from venturing out?
sue :)

That's such sad news about Kipcha, it's never nice to lose a rabbit but when they are so young and should have their full life ahead of them it's more devastating :(

It does sound like this year has started off well with the rehoming, I hope it continues and you find a lot more loving homes for the rabbits in your care :)

Rabbit Residence will be entered into our February draw - good luck :)
