Daisy took a trip with me to Bristol harbour.



In the harbour she saw motorboats, canoeists, sailboats and paddleboarders.



In the distance she could see the masts of Brunels ship the ss Great Britain.


Then suddenly, another ship came sailing into view...


it was The Matthew!

a replica of John Cabot's English ship that discovered Newfoundland , North America in 1497.


Daisy watched it sail in.....




then a last look at the boats before going home.

Daisy had a great time with me and my family at Newent Onion Fayre

Here she is studying the programme of events, deciding what to see first...




She went to see the exhibits and was shocked to find the winning largest onion was bigger than her!


She met a French chef


The winning category in the children's onion crafts section was Onions from Outer Space where the little onions were painted green like aliens.


and she liked all the onion animals


Daisy thought the Queen tribute band was great
