I've seen the Immitation Game, it was so sad what happened to Turing after the war - a loss of one of the great minds of the era.
Yes so sad about Alan Turing- glad times have moved on. I had seen the original film in which the actor who plays Turing looks much more like him than Cumberbatch and I liked the original better. (I didn't really have much time to look in the souvenir shop, but had to smile at the copies of ration books you could buy... I still have my real one!! (as they were still issued for some time post-war). A very interesting place. They have videos to watch and interactive puzzles and code breaking and great to see the Bombe working. You are given an audio set but we didn't use them as we preferred to read. There are dining facilities but we just grabbed a snack at the coffee shop as didn't want to waste time. I liked the fact that they put holograms of people working in the huts which made it more realistic especially with the voice-overs.

Yes we just didn't have time to see it all in the 3hours or so we were there and they have new exhibits opening in other huts soon. :) We'll be going back again next Spring and maybe take Daisy with us again. ( The entry ticket allows you to visit as many times in a year as you wish).
