I'm sorry to hear Casper's results weren't as good as you hoped , though glad he's eating....hopefully the meds will help him perk up?

Quick update on Casper been to vets this evening for a check up he's gained 60gms :D :D vet says he thinks his breathing is slightly improved :) :) he is booked in for anoher blood test & xrays on Thursday this week, bloods for his kidney failure, to see if the Fortekor is working and the xrays for his lungs, and to check for kidney stones, specialist wants a head xray done too although he has already had this several months ago and didn't show anything.

Vet has said he will have to stay on Fortekor for life but would like to see all the other meds stopped/reduced if poss but depends on the xrays, bit nervous now :-s :-s will kepp you all posted.

Thanks everyone :) spoken to the vets this morning and they've said they will use the gas to anesthetise Casper rather than injection as he will come around quicker and won't need to be asleep for long at all, due to his lung problems. The bloods are being sent off to the lab again for a full rabbit profile test again.

Let you know how he gets on although won't get the bloods back until next week, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed the xrays will be no worse than the last ones.

Well Casper is home he wouldn't eat at the vets :( but has eaten as soon as he got home :D he's pooed and wee too :D he's now back with Daisy and has his snugglesafe in the hutch although he will have to fight wih Daisy for it :)) :))

Haven't found out much yet, bloods have been sent to the lab and I suspect when the results come in they'll be sent to John Chitty for his opinion, Xrays have already been sent to John for his opinion, didn't have chance to speak to the young vet Richard who has been treating him for past few weeks, but was told the lungs weren't much worse or much better so I'll just have to wait and see I suppose, he is to stay on the same meds until we have more news.
