Starting from February we will be having a Rescue rabbit or guinea pig of the month feature. This will be where we invite the Rescues that Pledge a Pound supports to enter a rabbit or guinea pig they have at their Rescue with a minimum of 2 photos and the animals story.
The winning rabbit or guinea pig each month will win a £20.00 supermarket gift card from the 'buy a bunch' funds available for the Rescue to buy greens, veg, food, treats etc for their rescue animals.
If we receive more than one nomination each month, the Pledge a Pound Team will decide which rabbit or guinea pig will be awarded the title of Rabbit or Guinea Pig of the month for that month, if no nominations are received in a month we may award the title to a previous entrant that wasn't lucky enough to be nominated as the Rabbit/guinea pig of the month, if they are still at the Rescue.
So all we need now are some nominations from our Rescues, the only conditions are the rabbit/guinea pig must be currently at one of the Pledge a Pound Rescues, i.e. not an animal that has gone to The Rainbow Bridge, been adopted/rehomed or is fostered out. We need a minimum of 2 photos of the animal and their story. Once the winner each month has been decided and published the Rescue will then be sent the £20 supermarket gift card of their choice. The Rabbit or Guinea Pig of the month will be published on the Pledge a Pound website, forum, Facebook page & Group.
So Pledge a Pound Rescues if any of you would like to enter one of your rabbits or guinea pigs for February, please post your photos and information as a reply to this thread.

That's a great idea
A £20 gift card for veggies would be a huge help.
Can we put forward the very lovely Jackie...

She was brought to the rescue after being dumped in a field
She was dumped with an unneutered male, so we took her for an emergency spay to prevent more unwanted buns being born. She's a very friendly girl, soft and gentle, and she loves head rubs. As she was dumped we don't know how old she is, but we think she's a young bun. She was very lucky to be spotted by someone who cared enough to bring her here before she was found by a predator. Hopefully she'll soon find the loving home she deserves, with a husbun and lots of space to play.

Re: Rescue rabbit or guinea pig of the month
Are bonded pairs able to enter? All of our single bunnies are lucky enough to be reserved just now.
Our many gorgeous pairs sadly aren't having the same luck!
Many thanks

I don't see why a bonded pair can't enterCamp Nibble wrote:Are bonded pairs able to enter? All of our single bunnies are lucky enough to be reserved just now.
