I had a rabbit called Potroast....jokingly named by my OH, but the name stuck!

My vet used to love calling me into the consulting room by shouting the name as loud as he could :)

He also had a bunny on the books at the same time that was called Casserole :(

We've had a fair few through as boarders and the memorable names have been as follows:-

Marilyn Bunroe (Gorgeous apricot coloured large lop)
Elvis and Ronan (Guinea Pigs)
Kawalski (cute little 3 legged ferret)
Rocket Dog and Comet (Guinea Pigs)
Bungle (Cashmere Lop)
Mr Squiggles and Nibbles (A gorgeous pair of a deep chocolate and a butterfly print mini lopS)
Pink and Rhianna ( 9 week old ferrets)
Popeye (Lovely black one eyed bun)
Chewbacca and Wicket (Guinea Pigs)
Garlic (Huge French Lop)
Thunderbolt and Lightning (pair of very highly strung large lops and you had to meet them to know why their names suited them so much)
Crash, Bang and Wallop (Piggy trio)

When we had kittens, my mum wanted to call one of them Roadkill, because he had splayed hind legs when he sat down, and stripes down his back...

At the rescue center where I used to volunteer at the week ends often had strays in which were pregnant.

We called one lot of babies the Pastas:

Maccheroni
Tortellini
Fusilli
Spaghetti
Cannelloni
Fettuccine
and Lasagna

.....we had run out of baby names by that stage :D

There are some brilliant names on this thread. I have had the honour of having a Starfish, the one in Jill's list. I am so glad I asked what the story was behind her name because I was asked many times!

We had Mubbin and Whiffid the clown loaches. I think they have a Star Wars connection. I would love a cast set of tthe film, how sad!

Hans Solo
chewbacca - I'm sure there are a few of them.
Yoda
Princess Leia
Luke Skywalker
Jabba the Hut - would have to be a German lop or similar!

Then there are the Ewok names,
Wicket (male)
Ranok (male)
Warok (male)
Shodu (female)
Winda (female)
Latara (female)
Lumat (male)
Suda Trok(male)
Cheirpa (male)
Teek (male/female)
Moose (male/female)
Cheirpa (male)
Sarek (male)
Weechee (male)
Malani (female)
Chukha Trok (male)
Kneesha (female)
