Thanks Sara maybe I'll have a look on Ebay and at the garden centre then My hubby said to me this afternoon why don't I just buy some, so I think I willBlackberry wrote: Well, for the past couple of years I have saved some ripe berries and put them in pots of earth and hoped they would come up in the spring.....but they never did! But this spring we were foraging around early June where there are some nice big hawthorn bushes, and mum spotted some tiny weeny saplings growing through the grass! They were hidden under the bushes, and usually any saplings get eaten by the wildies around there, but these were literally 2 tiny leaves on each one, so we dug them up and bought them home, and put them in the pots with some rough soil as compost is too rich, and for weeks and weeks they did nothing, and this last couple of weeks they have suddenly decided to grow
And now that they are growing, we went to Wyevale garden centre the other day, and found hawthorn trees for sale And only £6.00 each! So we bought 2
But of you look on ebay you can actually buy hawthorn saplings, as they sell them as hedging plants

Hello! Have you missed me? I've been a very bus bunny.....playing Candy Crush Saga takes a LOT of time!!!!! I'm on Level 167 now
I have been doing other things too.
I have visited the Ashley Heath car boot sale - it's humungous (sometimes gets filmed for TV car boot shows, but there were no cameras when I visited )
I didn't want to stay out for photos too long in case anyone bought me!
After a hard couple of hours at the boot sale I needed a relax in my deckchair:
And a nice cup of tea!!!
I found myself a new suitcase and trolley at the boot sale....
....but I don't think it will hold all my luggage....
