injecting a bunny

Please feel free to ask advice on health issues, but remember, this is not a substitute for taking your rabbit to the vets if it is sick.

Good luck. What are you injecting. If depocillin leave out fridge 20 minutes first.

nothing at present as I have chickened out and let vets do it. :ymblushing:
I wanted the first few doses to be right but I'm going to try to do it myself at the vets tomorrow- if not then vet can do it. It's Duphropen- a type of penicillin.

I was too frightened to do it at first and my daughter had to come and help, but it does get easier, unfortunately I've had several bunnies that have needed injections :(

Good luck and I'm glad the video helped :)

It's Duphapen ( which I think is also known as Depocillin or Penicillin Procaine G)- it's a type of penicillin.
