I've just realised I haven't shown my boat trip pictures yet!

Binky and I were wandering around the garden last week, when he asked if I fancied a trip out.

Image

He wanted to take his boat out for a trip.

Image

I quite like a boat trip, and we could both fit well into the boat together.

Image

We found a lovely lake to sail on in the New Forest.

All aboard!

Ah, this is the life :D

After our sail I decided to have a hop around the forest whilst Binky was putting the boat away.

It was a lovely day :D

I heard Sara say she was going to Bournemouth Beach, so I packed myself in her bag!

Image

Gilly & Vera snuck in too :D

The deck chairs were a bit big for us - we should have brought our own.

Image

The tide was way out, so we could see the mouth of the River Bourne, where Bournemouth gets its name from :)

Image

I enjoyed a hop along the beach - G & V hitched a lift in the bag for part of the way.

We played on the sand (Gilly was hot, so stripped her cardigan off).

I went for a paddle with Sally - sh was wearing her PaP hoodie :D

Sunbathing on the beach.

Gilly & Vera went for an ice cream, whilst I accompanied Sally to the amusement arcade.

Wow - think of all the carrots that could buy!

I won Sally a woolly mammoth :D

After we had spent all our money we went to find Gilly & Vera - they had found a refreshments place named after me :D

Splendid photos of the boat trip and the beach .... I love the Wooly Mammoth. :-bd

It is good to see that your singed paws are healing up well. Are you using ointment?

No need for ointment - the salty sea water is a great healer :D

These are really lovely photos. They made me think of a cross between Wind in the Willows and Swallows and Amazons, with maybe a bit of Enid Blyton thrown in :)

Brilliant photos of Gulliver on the beach I love them :)

Just to let everyone know Gulliver arrived here in Southampton safely today :) He is aching a little after being in the box so will be relaxing with us this evening and watching a film :) I hope he likes horror films ;) Will take a photo of him later.

Tomorrow morning he is coming with me to Southampton Rabbit Rescue for another visit :) then in the afternoon if weather is nice we are making a start in the garden for the new hutches and will be choppng branches off trees and digging the base, so I hope Gulliver is going to be working :)) :))

On Sunday it's my Dad's birthday so Mum & Dad are coming over for a BBQ (if weather good) so Gulliver will be attending the BBQ too although he will probably just have salad for his lunch :)

Glad he arrived quickly :D

That sounds like a fun weekend - hope he doesn't hog all the salad :))

Good to hear from Gulliver, and I hope he enjoys visiting the rescue.

Careful not to get too close to the barbecue, Gulliver. ;)

Gulliver: Well folks as promised here's some photos of what I've been up to since arriving here in Southampton with Foofy on Friday.

I was a little tired after my long sleep in the box on the way to Foofy, so upon arrival I changed into my dressing gown and settled down on the arm of the settee in the evening with Mr & Mrs Foofy to watch a film :)
Image

However I'm not really into horror films and at the end of the film this is how Foofy found me, I had fallen asleep I was so tired after my travels :ymblushing:
Image

On Saturday morning Foofy went to visit Sue at Southampton Rabbit Rescue so I went along too, Sue was very pleased to see me again I met her in September last year too :) I enjoyed seeing some more bunny friends and these 2 georgous girls fell in love with me, well how could they resist? :)) The black bunny is called Abbie and the fawn one is called Fudge, Abbie is in fact Fudge's Mum, and great news they have been reserved and will be going off to their new forever home soon :) Abbie seemed to love me the most and gave me a good washing, in fact she got so enthusiastic she knocked me over :x All the girls seem to love me I must be irristible :x

On Saturday afternoon Mr & Mrs Foofy made a start on preparing the garden for the new rabbit hutches that Mr Foofy is building for the 4 bunnies that live there Buttons, Peter Rabbit, Casper & Daisy. As they had to start by chopping off a big branch of the crab tree I donned my crash helmet to protect me and posed for a quick photo on the branch before it was chopped off
Image

While they were chopping off the branch and chopping down some branches off the buddlia shrub I supervised and sat on top of Peter and Buttons hutch, you can see Peter upstairs in the hutch and just about see Buttons downstairs he doesn't like his photo being taken much and was hiding behind the hay ball. In the hutch next to where I'm sitting you can see Casper & Daisy also watching the goings on with interest :)
Image

Well here's a picture of me sitting on the branches and supervising Mrs Foofy swing them up into smaller pieces, they also had to move the compost bin out of the corner and you can see Mr Foofy preparing the ground ready to move it, he then had to move all the compost into it afterwards :)) :))
Image

On Sunday it was Foofy's Dads birthday (I called him Grandad Foofy) so Nanny & Grandad Foofy came over to Mr & Mrs Foofys for a BBQ, luckily it didn't rain but they all had to wear their coats whilst sitting in the garden as it was so cold :)) :)) I of course had to supervise the cooking that Mr Foofy was doing :) mainly to keep warm, I must admit I did rather fancy some of that beer too but the bottle was bigger than me and Mr Foofy said it was his special beer and he didn't want me getting drunk in front of his in-laws :)) :))
Image

I did get a little hot sat right next to the BBQ so went and sat on the table where they had started to lay out the rest of the lunch, I was very tempted to start munching on the salad and homemade coleslaw, there was lots of carrot in it :) but I decided to behave myself in the end I didn't want Nanny & Grandad Foofy to think me a naughty bunny.
Image

Today I have been at Foofy's home resting and recovering from my hectic weekend while Mr & Mrs Foofy were at work. I am hoping to meet Foofys cat Poppy soon as she didn't live here last time I visited, the Foofys didn't rescue her from the RSPCA until after I had left. I also have to have a proper introduction to Daisy Foofy's newest rescue bunny who is now married to Casper I expect she will fall head over heels in love with me too as all the doe's do :)
