April/Easter PaP

Rabbit and guinea pig welfare would like to thank you all for your generous donation of £50 from the Easter pap fundraising.
We will be using the money to go towards getting Fandango neutered and vhd vacc'd.
Fandango was a stray taken to a local vets he was very underweight and very dehydrated when found but is starting to pick up and do well.

I shall post a picture for you to see him in a day or two.

Wilford Rabbit Refuge have received our cheque from the Easter fundraiser. I'd like to say a big 'Thank You' to Sue and the PaP gang, and everyone who has donated. Our money is going to pay for one of the sanctuary bunnies, Fudge, to have a dental this week and it'll pay for his vaccinations too

Thank you very much. I think it will go towards myxo vaccines for the bunnies this year as they are due soon and go their VHD ones recently.

We recently had a phone call from a gentleman over in Walsall regarding concerns over the sex of his rabbits and asking if we would help him. We got in touch with Becky as she works for the RSPCA over there and she agreed to pop in and help him sex them. But when she spoke to him on the phone his demeanor completely changed and he told her he had tried to let them go but his wife had stopped him and he was going to cull them if they didn't get removed. Long story short Becky ended up walking out with 12rabbits - an unexpected sudden influx of six for her and us. The monies raised by the PaP campaign are going to help pay for our six girls to be neutered and vaccinated before we can hopefully find them loving new homes.
