And Our Other Babies

Post by honeybunny »

We had another doe arrive in rescue after being left with a male.
She soon showed signs of being pregnant and i was worried as she had a litter before and killed them all. As time went on she got more stressed and was trashing her hutch. I thought if she had babes they wouldn't survive.
Well she gave birth to 9! One died in the nest and sadly she did kill another :( But 7 are doing ok :)
Here is mum having a break from the little ones

I MUST STRESS WE ARE AGAINST BREEDING AND ALTHOUGH BABY BUNNIES ARE CUTE THEY GROW QUICKLY. ANY LITTERS AT HONEYBUNNIES ARE DUE TO STUPID PEOPLE LEAVING THEIR UN NEUTERED PETS TOGETHER BEFORE THEY GIVING THEM UP :(

They are beautiful, I hope they all find lovely forever homes when the time comes

Gorgeous! I can only imagine how frustrating this must be, and having some many extra bunnies to rehome due to pregnancy...
