Lolly's babies *WARNING* This is too cute!

Lolly was running around a builder's yard with two male rabbits. Luckily, someone working on the site caught them and brought them to us. Two were boys, and were split from Lolly. We had them neutered and vaccinated and they have now found a home together. Because we don't spay/abort at Furry Friends, we kept Lolly for pregnancy watch.

On the 29th May, Lolly gave birth. At this point, I had no idea how many babies there were. We don't disturb the nest here, but we do have a very quick peek every day just to check on things. One morning, I went to see to the rabbits, got to Lolly's hutch and found a baby in the food bowl (I would like to add that her food bowl gets changed daily, as you can see she poops in it). At first the baby was motionless and I thought it was dead, but then it started to wiggle. By now, Lolly was excited for breakfast and was bouncing over the baby. I managed to distract her with food and gently put the baby back in the nest.

Later on that day, Lolly put the baby back with the others - phew!

This morning, I went to check on them and the nest was uncovered so I got to see them properly :)
