Weekend in York

Left Sheffield Saturday afternoon to head for York. We collected Rosie from the rescue and met Captain Helen (RU) on Sunday teatime and Rosie is now settling in back home in Sheffield.
Went on the York Eye
Met The Purple Man
Me and John
Peter Rabbit
Had a lovely weekend and managed to miss the rain showers.

Glad you enjoyed the weekend.
I have visited York a few times, but the York Eye must be more recent than any of my visits as I don't remember it.

They travel around the country, we had one in Sheffield for months before it moved on. I went on that one too

lovely photos- glad you enjoyed your time in York. I haven't been there since the children were young (16yrs ago ) and I don't think there was an eye there then.

The Eye will be leaving York for somewhere else later this year, so the staff said. York is a lovely place to visit for the weekend. Lots to do and see.
