Re: Windwhistle Warren - 77 piggys needing homes

Unfortunately the numbers keep rising despite the high numbers Alice rehomes.

Our Guinea Pig numbers are rising again!
There is a rescue currently happening down in Crawley where 325 have been taken from a hoarder situation, sows are all pregnant :( . They are being distributed around rescues around the UK.
We are taking as many as we can fit in to help Palace Piggie Rescue.
If anyone is considering adopting Guinea Pigs or would like us to help bond their lonely pig with a friend then please do get in touch with us :) (windwhistlewarren@gmail.com)

Alice still has many guinea pigs and rabbits for rehoming. If you are thinking to adopt there are many you can chose from. :)

Also some good advice regarding plastic hutch covers

Plastic hutch covers....please be careful when we are expecting very warm weather and rain....the natural thought would be to protect bunny from the rain but the hutch will get very warm even over night. So your bunny will be happier with a bit of rain in his hutch than over heating......which is very dangerous and life threatening

Windwhistle Warren is FULL. We simply CANNOT take any more animals in. Please DO NOT contact any of us with requests to take in animals.

If you want to adopt please get in touch with us. Our rehoming policy is on the website, link above.
For rabbit adoption it's contact@windwhistlewarren.org.uk and for guinea pig adoption windwhistlewarren@gmail.com

"Very happy to report that our long stay gorgeous boys Fergus and Henry have been rehomed today to a very good home :)
Also little Claude who has been here since he was a baby has been paired with new pal Finn."

As per the previous post Windwhistle warren is Full and Alice would be pleased to hear from anyone considering adoption of rabbits or guinea pigs.

Please note that there is now a separate contact for guinea pig rehoming. Rabbit rehoming contact remains the same.

For rabbit adoption it's
contact@windwhistlewarren.org.uk

and for guinea pig adoption
windwhistlewarren@gmail.com

Windwhistle Warren is now full to the brim :( (which means massive vet fee bills :( ) so if anyone is considering adoption of rabbit/s or guinea pig/s then Alice would be glad to reduce the numbers.

Rabbits are rehomed in pairs unless as a partner for adopters existing rabbit.
Guinea pigs are also rehomed in pairs unless as a partner for adopters existing guinea pig.

Oddball, was living with a rabbit so quite scared of other piggies, so we will either bond with a baby boar or neuter as a last option.
