Hi :)

Hope it's ok to put our long termers in here.

Lola has been with us since April. We are keen to find her a home asap as she is on her own and needs a neutered male rabbit for snuggles and more! She is a bit shy, so someone who can help build her trust would be perfect.

Debs, Rita and Aster came from the same home as Lola (they were all left behind when the owners moved). Trios stay in rescue for longer than pairs as they need more room. These girls are lovely. They were very skittish at first, but I have spent a lot of time with them and are now fine to be handled.

They are all spayed, vaccinated, wormed, and seen by our vet (none of them needed any dentals done). We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £35 per rabbit.

Alice of Windwhistle Warren has asked me to highlight a few of hers:_

all photos on http://www.windwhistlewarren.org.uk/adoptr.html

Golightly & Dora(Please note discrepancies in the stated ages and length of time waiting for homes, is because only the length of time has been updated )
Golightly-a small male (dutch) and Dora his female partner a small(black) dainty rex, (both neutered)who have been in rescue for nearly 3 years :( . (almost all their lives)
Both rabbits are healthy though Golightly is a very timid little fellow so needs an adult home with lots of space where his fears can be respected and understood. Alice feels that because these are very ordinary bunnies they keep being overlooked, and thinks that with one-to-one care and patience, Golightly would come out of his shell..

Mea & Mia
Mea and Mia are two female very pretty grey netherland dwarf girls (both neutered), both aged 3yrs who have been in rescue 2 years :( described by Alice as two high speed balls of fur jumping everywhere whose favourite sport is human baiting as they are so mischievous. These girls need an experienced home with plenty of space. They have probably been overlooked as they may be too lively for many people.

Jester and Suki
Jester is a 4yr old (grey) French lop- a large house bunny who is gentle and loving. Although he once had pasturella and is now clear of it, there is the possibility it could recur in the future. His wifebun Suki aged 3yrs is a (black and white) Dwarf lop and had a terrible life before being bonded with Jester and is very timid. )Other than the pasturella carrier risk to Suki and reccurence risk to Jester, both are healthy and their teeth are fine. The pair have been in rescue almost a year now. :( They need to be rehomed as house bunnies in a quiet home with no children where they could feel loved and secure. Possibly the fact that Jester had pasturella in the past has deterred people from choosing them.

Zoot and Blaise have been with us for 2 months now and have had no interest. They are middle aged and agouti colouring so are likely to be with us for some time. Both are VERY friendly. Would make perfect first time bunnies.

I'm bumping this up for the long- termers, who are longing for forever homes.

Please take a look at Golightly and Dora ( in rescue 3years) - overlooked as too ordinary

Mea & Mia (in rescue 2 years) - overlooked as lively

Jester & Suki (in rescue 1 year) - overlooked as Jester once had snuffles (pasturella)

details of these on the previous post on here
and at Alice's website http://www.windwhistlewarren.org.uk/adoptr.html

September and Paintbox

Post by fluffers »

We are looking for a home for September and her daughter Paintbox. September arrived in September 2011 with her 8 beautiful kits. These have all since found forever homes except for Paintbox who was kept with mum for company :x

They are a stunning pair of bunnies who have been very spoilt while living with their Auntie Jen :ymblushing: and would like a home with similar 5 * accomodation, food and exercise regime :D

They are used to, and will need in future, lots of free range time..supervised of course..natural forage food stuffs such as apple sticks, hawthorn, and hourly compliments along the lines of "you two are the most beautiful rabbits in the world" and "would you two gorgeous little fluffsters like some more applely sticks" (these must be said in the voice you normally reserve for 6 month old babies or labrador puppies) :)) :))

Anyone who adopts this pair will be very lucky and the only 2 additional parts of the adoption agreement to normal is you have to keep their names..(that's because I chose Paintbox and love it!) and let Jen have an update now and then to their life as she will miss them greatly =((

They currently live as outdoor buns but LOVE to explore inside and would easily adapt as house buns :D

Both are neutered and vacs..a homecheck will be carried out..and we'd love to see them settled soon :x
