Hello!

Post by Baymair »

Just saying a quick hello - I've been browsing this forum for a few weeks now, having been told about it by lovely Apache on here.

I'm housekeeper to three lovely rabbits, they are domestic x wild and still quite young. I will probably have loads of questions...! ;;) They are currently living in the kitchen while we all get used to each other. I'd been planning to get a couple of older house rabbits later in the year, but these turned up unexpectedly and needed a home and I am :x (I really like the smilie selection on here! :-bd )

Anyway - hello!

What gorgeous bunnies and what unusual names :) - am I right in thinking Llyr is of Welsh origins? :)

Thanks :)

You're right Sue - they're named after their colours, so Llyr is Welsh for grey haired, Elffin is a Welsh name meaning white (although he/she does have brown spots as well), and Mooskit is the Shetland name given to that colour brown of sheeps fleece.
