Well as it's Pancake day today ( Shrove Tuesday) :) so Daisy went to see the annual Pancake Races in Dursley, Glos.

Daisy met one of the competitors dressed as Batman, and posed in his frying pan, but she decided it might be a little uncomfy when he tossed the pancake so decided to sit and watch with me. :)

Image

Batman didn't win despite a good race.

There were lots of competitors, many in fancy dress and races were held in heats so they didn't bump into each other.
Here is a competitor in a martial arts suit, some charity runners and a competitor in a lion costume, who waved to Daisy lol.

Daisy went to see the pantomime Snow White in half term. :)

Daisy also went on a Gruffalo Hunt in the Forest of Dean with me and my daughter bunlover and her 2 children.
. An app is used on a smart phone which profects animated images on a certain spot,( like a tree stump) and when the person stands next to the spot ( say a tree stump) you can take a photo/video of them with the image(s).
The Gruffalo is a rhyming story of a little mouse who wanders in the forest and various creatures are deterred from eating him as he says he's meeting his (imaginary) friend The Gruffalo, for whom they are the Gruffalo's favourite food. In the end he meets the Gruffalo who is deterred from eating him because all the other animals run away scared when they see the mouse(and the Gruffalo behind him)and the mouse gets the Gruffalo to run away as he says "my tummy is starting to rumble, and my favourite food is...Gruffalo crumble!"
