Today because it was raining and we couldn't go in a horse tram in the rain, we came home and Daisy showed me that she's remembered how to knit! So she made herself a scarf, I helped with the button hole and sewing on the button. This will keep her warm in her winter travels. ☔️
And then looking very smart and cosy in the finished scarf. She chose the colour herself!

While Daisy has been with us on the Isle of Man, she attended an RE curriculum day at Rushen Abbey in Ballasalla. These days are organised by Scripture Union Ministries Trust IOM and are called Lifepath. The year 5 pupils from our primary schools learn about life at the abbey, about the monks and about modern day Christians.

Daisy has been learning the art of calligraphy and illumination.

Helping to illuminate a large letter, she had stuck on the red piece of paper closest to her.

Daisy has also completed a jigsaw puzzle and learnt the Lords prayer too.

Just to let you all know that Daisy is almost fully booked for the rest of this year. She now only has 2 weeks left available and they are the Christmas and New Year week. If anyone is interested in hosting for these 2 weeks please PM me she costs £2.00 per week to host plus the cost of posting her onto her next host which should cost £2.80 2nd class small parcel.
All the money that Daisy raises this year will go to the 21 Rescues that Pledge a Pound supports at the end of the year.

Daisy will also soon be publishing her new 2017 calendar and taking bookings for next year.

Here is the updated calendar for this year.
