Advice please, reduced eating, small poo, swollen tummy.

Please feel free to ask advice on health issues, but remember, this is not a substitute for taking your rabbit to the vets if it is sick.

Well....Inca seems a fair bit better. She is pooing normally and she is eating more normally :)

Took her to the vets and they checked her teeth, which have the potential start or future spurs :( but no great issue just now. Then felt her tummy area....vet thought that she did feel a bit bloated and her cecum (sp?) was a bit doughy. She got Metoclopromide and Ceporex injections at the vets and I have the same to give her at home. Also got some Zantac to give and keep her on the Metacam.....so she is like a wee junkie bunny just now, but hey as long as it helps.

Also went to PAH and got her some Timothy Hay which she is loving, although it cos me a fortune! So between that Hay, the Hay4Pets hay and the vets I am about £85 quid down, plus I had to take 2 hours holiday from work to take her to the vets.....Oh the things we do for out bunnies!
My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend stopped running today.
