Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month November 2023
Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month November 2023
THIS ENTRY IS ON BEHALF OF HALFPENNY FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY
We would like to Nominate Sage on behalf of Halfpenny Sanctuary. He was another one of the trio which was rescued after their hutch was set on fire in Aberdeen. Sage recently lost his soul mate and mum to cancer a few months ago, you can tell He is lost without her. He is currently in the middle of bonding with another rabbit in the hopes it brings his spark back.

Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month November 2023
This month Beloved Rabbits would like to nominate Gaston. This sweet boy is a recent arrival and, like many of the rabbits we see, came in to us in a bit of a sorry state. As an Angora x Mini Lop cross his coat is a challenge to maintain, and we noticed he is really struggling with his fur as he has multiple balding areas caused by matted fur pulling at his skin. He also has glaucoma so can be slightly reactive when approached due to poor vision.
Despite this, he's a really friendly and curious little guy who loves nose rubs and isn't shy about coming up for attention. We intend to get him booked in for a vet health check as soon as possible and get him fixed up before he hops off to an adoptive home. He's adorable so we're sure it won't be too long before he's snapped up!
Gaston
