Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month October 2023
Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month October 2023
THIS ENTRY IS ON BEHALF OF WINDWHISTLE WARREN RESCUE
Windwhistle would like to enter Shelby. Introducing shy little Shelby. He didn’t have a great start to life, being rescued from a hoarding situation. As a result he isn’t very trusting of us humans and is a very nervous boy. He’ll need a special home who are willing to be patient and calm.
Shelby

THIS ENTRY IS ON BEHALF OF MARIAS ANIMAL SHELTER
Marias Animal Shelter would like to enter June for the Rescue Rabbit of the month.
We are not sure how long June has suffered with Pododermatitis but guessing quite a while as the area is large. I don’t think people realise how painful this condition is but hopefully we can get it under control before an infection sets in.

Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month October 2023
Baby Blue Bee Bunnies would like to nominate Binbag.
This little darling was found in a village nearby the rescue, dumped at the side of the road. A member of the public thankfully caught him before it was too late and contacted us.
He is a gorgeous little chocolate Dutch, and was absolutely emaciated and covered in bites from another male. He couldn't get neutered until he put on a lot of weight. Poor little soul hasn't stopped gorging on food since he arrived.
He was doing well after neuter, but unfortunately he took a sudden turn for the worst one day and actually stopped breathing.
As always we fought tooth and nail for him and he has received expert exotic vet care. This week binbags been diagnosed with Endocarditis
So now we pray that treatment is successful but its a long and uncertain road for him
