THIS ENTRY IS ON BEHALF OF MARIAS ANIMAL SHELTER

Can I enter Mars for guinea pig of the month please. Mars is quite a chilled guinea. He came in because his previous family had too many animals to care for. He is only 18 months old, but already has a few serious health concerns. He has had a problem with his PA Sac and we have found out that he has 5 different bad bacterias present. We have to clean his sac out daily and then apply a cream to kill them off. Whilst he was in the vets we had xrays done which revealed arthritis in his spine and hocks. He will be on anti-inflammatories for the rest of his life. We are hoping to find a female friend for him to live with.

Mars

THIS ENTRY IS ON BEHALF OF HALFPENNY FARM ANIMAL SANTUARY

I am nominating Dusty on behalf of Halfpenny-Farm Animal Sanctuary, for the Rescue Rabbit of the Month for June.
Dusty came to the rescue at 18 months old because her owner could not afford her dental issues and she was faced with being put to sleep. They took her in and managed to get her vaccinated, neutered and her incisors removed. She is now happily bonded with Shamrock and is enjoying her new life at the rescue 😊
Dusty is on the left in the photo 😊

THIS ENTRY IS ON BEHALF OF WINDWHISTLE WARREN RESCUE

Windwhistle would like to enter Quinn.
Quinn is just over 2 years old and has a lovely sweet happy temperament. He had a bit of a tough start to life being rescued from a hoarder situation along with several other bunnies.
Unfortunately on having a checkup at the vets it was found that he has dental disease in his upper gum, which is ongoing and will have to be managed.
Nonetheless he’s an inquisitive boy who likes to see what’s going on, and if there are any treats about 🙂
