Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month January 2022
Baby Blue Bee Bunnies would like to enter the gorgeous Berani. She arrived at the rescue having been deliberately abandoned. We have named her Berani which means brave, and that she certainly is. Immediately on arrival she had her survival guard firmly up, then she went into protective mode . She was extremely hormonal and doing a lot of pacing, grunting and constant nest building with more fur she continued to pull out. It was thought she may be have had babies before coming into our care but our vets felt she had aborted through stress and fear.
When she arrived she was extremely underweight, however she has not stopped eating since she arrived and is undergoing medical care and has had a full clinical exam. She wasn't too happy with her cuddly teddy so that's been thrown out (by her ) but she loves digging in her dig tray. On being gifted a beautiful snuffle mat, she was a little perplexed but soon worked it out. She is truly a special girl and after everything she's been through deserves a wonderful home. We hope you will continue to follow this sweet girls journey.
