We’d like to enter Yasmin from Rabbit Residence Rescue.

For Team Binky Buns' entry, we would like to nominate our Jilly. Jilly was returned to Binky Buns after many years in what should have been her forever home. Within a week, she lost her bonded partner, who was also her guide bun as Jilly's sight is compromised, and also lost her home. We're so sad for her but we're overjoyed that she's returned to us - She's our sanctuary girl now. Jilly is anywhere from age 6 plus and we adore her. She's a very shy girl, weighing in at less than 2kg when she came back to us, but our Steve is helping her with her rehabilitation. She has also taken a liking to her Binky Buns Grandpa and has done a couple if binkies for him. We love you Jilly and you matter

Baby Blue Bee Bunnies would like to enter Barrow. This little chap arrived at the rescue as his previous home felt they could not meet his welfare needs. He arrived with a very crusted and scabbed nose and was not in the greatest state of health. He is a loveable boy with gorgeous eyes and our amazing vet partners have taken all necessary swabs etc to rule out anything sinister. As you can see from the 2nd picture he is well on the road to recover with only a few weeks of the best of care at the rescue znd we hope he will soon be ready to start finding his forever home.

Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month July 2021
Daisy and Rosie came to SRR nearly 3 years ago after being given up for rehome numerous times. By the time they arrived at SRR they had 6 homes in 8 months. They grew to big and nobody wanted them. Their last home didn't want to spend money on neutering them ( they were 8 months and hormonal) so we were asked to take them. They arrived at SRR and instantly Sue fell in love with them. They were neutered and micrchipped under the rescue and here they have stayed. Daisy has developed seizures this past few months and is now going blind. They are 3 years old. Daisy on the left and Rosie on the right.

Good luck everyone xx
Re: Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month July 2021
This month Beloved Rabbits would like to nominate Allegra and Aleeza. This lovely pair have been on hold since they arrived while we investigated a number of health concerns. Upon intake, we immediately knew we'd have to arrange an urgent vet appointment for Allegra's eye as she had lumps we suspected may be abscesses around the circumference of the eyeball itself. An assessment with a specialist discovered the issue is conjunctival growth, a rare birth defect where the skin of the eye grows over and appears to bulge out. Despite having a slightly odd appearance, no meds or treatment were required and it's not causing her any pain. Poor Allegra was overweight to the point she was unable to clean herself which resulted in matted and red skin near her bottom, so our first step for her was to clean her up and put her on a diet. She showed a lot of improvement at her health check, however X-rays discovered she has some lower back problems, with multiple vertebrae slightly misaligned. As a result of this she will always be on a long term pain management plan, but she is a star at taking her Metacam and her foster carer has reported she is now running around, climbing and jumping!
Throughout all this, they have been a delight to foster - they are sweet, inquisitive girls who can always be found grooming and cuddling up to each other, and get on well with the resident cats and dogs. We're so glad we were able to resolve their health issues and our aim now is to find them the forever home they deserve.
