THIS ENTRY IS ON BAHALF OF MARIAS ANIMAL SHELTER

We would like to enter Dave please. Dave came in quite underweight and not eating well. We thought he needed a dental, so booked him in. We were quite surprised when the vets informed us that his teeth were ok because he had been drooling. Dave's droppings were misshapen and extremely hard. I had heard of megacolon but had never encountered it. The vet tests came back positive. We think that dave drools because of extreme pain. He is on strong pain relief now but we have too monitor him daily incase of impaction. He would then need an operation to unblock him. This will be Dave's life now. We are hoping to pair him up in the future, so he will have a companion to snuggle up to.

Honeybunnies would like to put Tijuana forward. pic day she arrived after having been bought for a child but got increasingly aggressive.
And by george she was and still is.
On arrival she would grunt charge box bite and hang on. She would jump up at your legs and hang on to jeans at knee level .
She is now slightly better, but only slightly.
She has wrecked several weld mesh panels on the aviaries ! :(
We had her neutered and vacs and hope that would work but the improvement is small. I can now stroke her when she is eating but have to keep an eye for her to finish chewing as she then turns to bite.
She cannot be rehomed like this but we are giving her every chance.
She is safe even if I am not! lol
Stunning but very badly behaved!

We like to nominate the lovely Darla from Rabbit Residence Rescue.
Darla has some neurological issues and poor eyesight potentially from a brain injury (she is under investigation by our vets. As a result of these issues she’s a wobbly little bunny but so unbelievably happy & she loves to binky

Beloved Rabbits would like to nominate Terry Pratchett for rescue rabbit of the month. This beautiful blue eyed boy had been in the rescue previously, and was returned to us recently after his bonded buddy sadly passed away. His owner advised that he is on a long term pain management plan for arthritis in his back and hips, which involves giving him three different medicines per day, but luckily he's a star at taking his meds. He's also slightly overweight so we're working on this to get him down to a normal weight. He's settling into his foster home really well and his foster carer has reported that he's doing loads of exploring, zoomies and binkies, and has even broken out of his pen in the middle of the night to explore the place, all captured on bunny cam! We've had quite a bit of interest in him but haven't found a home that's quite right for him yet, but we know his perfect match will come along.
