12 year old Scamper had spent most of his life in rescue as he can be a bit of a grump (& he was partnered to a shy red eyed bunny).
Sadly, Scamper lost his wifebun of 10 years, Delta to cancer last week :(
As Scamper has cataracts he is struggling to cope without her :(

THIS ENTRY IS ON BEHALF OF MARIAS ANIMAL SHELTER

Copper came into us last year after losing his companion and the family did not want to carry on having guineas. He was quite thin and we could not seem to build him up. Copper went into the vets for a scan and the result showed a poor kidney function. After starting him on pain relief and medication for his kidney, Copper has gained a nice weight and his happy living with Mini, his female companion. Copper will be living with us for good unless we can find a good foster home for him. He is quite a sweetie.

We would like to enter Darwin.
I lived with 3 other males and we were all fighting. My owner thought I was the bully and so got rid of me. I was taken a to a shop to be rehomed. I was covered in bite wounds and 1 had turned into an abscess. Medication stressed me out so much it triggered e-coli and so the shop couldn't rehome me. Sue at SRR was contacted and was asked to take me. I was neutered and now live with my little girlfriend Maggie. I'm nearly 3 years old. Loves Darwin xx

Baby Blue Bee Bunnies would like to enter Belvedere
This is sweet boy Belvedere who came to us recently. He was passed from home to home and the most recent person who had him realised her dog was trying to attack him and was becoming aggressive. The person emailed us and said that he would be put to sleep if we didn't take him asap. 😭💔 One of our volunteers went to pick him up and bring him straight to us. He is such a sweet bun but sadly needed a dental procedure as his teeth were a complete mess from lack of good diet.

Beloved Rabbits would like to nominate Buckaroo this month. He is a gorgeous Conti who upon entering the charity was suspected of having some pain issues due to his behaviours with our volunteers. We arranged a vet check for him and sure enough, he was diagnosed with chronic pain in his hind legs and prescribed Metacam to manage his pain levels. His foster carer has been giving him a lot of TLC and has reported that now he's not in pain, he's a sassy boy full of flops and binkies! We have had a lot of interest in him but as yet are waiting for his perfect match, so hopefully he will have a home to call his own soon.
