check rabbit Water bowls/ bottles often in heatwave

I think it would be a good idea to check your rabbit's Water bottle or water bowl often to make sure the water hasn't evaporated or become hot or all been drunk in this heatwave ).

Cold fresh water will help to keep your rabbit hydrated.

Hutches or runs should have some shade from the hot sun as the weather can change in an hour or two ( while you are at work or go shopping? ) and rabbits do not tolerate hot weather well , so it's good to think about how the position of the sun will change .

Good advice I have to refill my water bowl in one of the hutches frequently as one of the bunnies Stevie is blind, and as he can't see where the bowl is he sometimes knocks it or stands in it, gets bedding in it and all sorts!!

Keep your rabbits cool.
Also I think it's better to avoid plastic sheet as shade over the hutch mesh, as plastic can make the interior hot, and rabbits need a good supply of circulating fresh air. Maybe a damp cotton cloth as shade if hutch is in direct sunlight at some parts of the day?
