I have read both that rabbits should not eat geraniums as they are harmful, and that they can eat them...any advice?

I think the old fashioned wild type are safe but not the potted up type?
I feed the wild type as they grow all over my garden and not had probs but always check what the plant is.

AH thanks honeybunny... that makes sense! I have wild blue woodland geraniums growing in my front garden and wanted to get shop bought red geraniums. i will now put the shop bought ones in hanging baskets and can plant some of the blue woodland ones to the back garden ( no rabbits allowed in front garden).
