Yes it is a great shame that red eyed bunnies get overlooked. I did actually have a deaf REW I didn't twig she was deaf for a while though! I believe they have a higher chance of being deaf or have poor eyesight, although my current REW Ruby is not deaf, and her eyesight seems to be OK as far as I can tell.
