Hamilton bun

Post by honeybunny »

Hamilton was being given away " free to a good home " on Gumtree. Advertised as 8 years old :(

Highlighted on another groups page we agree to take him and he was collected for us. On collection his owner seemed in a hurry to get him into the carrier. The lady who colelcted him took him home and cared for him for a few days then brought him to me.
As soon as i picked him up I knew why he's been given in.

That is not a testicle, it is a bladder hernia his testicles are underneath..or would be if he hadn't withdrawn them! :( Have no idea how long he'd had it but we put him in for op to repair it. Sadly his insides were a mess and it fell down again.

We took a long time to decide what to do but put him in for 2nd op. Vet had problems dealing with it as not much left to sticth too but so far looks ok.
He is a happy chap who loves his food and here he is enjoying his X mas treat bag :)
