Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the month for February 2018

Post by Foofy »

As we have now announced the winner of the Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the month for January - Bugsy Malone from The Rabbit Residence
see his story and photos here http://www.pledgeapound.net/forum/viewt ... &start=420
we are now opening up this thread for entries for the February Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month.

All our Rescues are welcome to enter, even if you have won before. Your entry must include the animal/s story and at least 1 photo (but more is good), you have until midnight on 31st January to get your entries in here. Entries can only be accepted from the Rescues/Sanctuaries that Pledge a Pound supports, and must be placed as a reply to this thread.

Only one entry per Rescue please.

Your entry can be a single rabbit or guinea pig, or it can be a pair or group that live together.

The winner will be chosen by the Pledge a Pound Team at the beginning of February and will win a £20.00 supermarket gift card for the Rescue to buy greens, herbs, supplies etc for the winner and the other animals at their Rescue :)

If anyone needs help uploading photos to the forum please let me know.

Hi, could we please enter Camp Nibble bunny Christopher Reeve :)

Christopher Reeve is a mature large breed lop who has joined us after being handed into a vet practice very underweight as an injured stray.

Unfortunately, x-rays have revealed that the lameness in his back leg is due to a horribly infected arthritis causing a nasty leg abscess.
Christopher's long term prognosis is very uncertain. However, we are doing our very best to keep this gorgeous chap happy and well in himself with treatment and special care for as long it remains to be in his best interests. Although, his leg will always be lame Christopher is now in much better body condition and is enjoying life with his sanctuary friends.

We would like to enter one of baby bunnies born at Windwhistle Warren at the end of last year. Photo courtesy of rabbit photographer par excellence, Di Stamps. Obviously, his mum was pregnant with her litter when she arrived. Isn't he a little sweetie. <3
