VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Rabbit parents please be aware, RVHD2 is definitely in Gloucestershire. Your rabbits need two vaccinations a year now. The combined myxo/VHD does not protect against RVHD2. The vaccine for this is 'filivac'.
This vaccine is now licensed, all vets should be able to stock this. If they do not, I suggest you source a vet who does.

'Ros Lamb Longlevens, Gloucestershire.
I've received a report from a vet nurse whose own two rabbits passed away from RVHD2 (lab confirmed) She had 3 rabbits, the older one had been vaccinated with Filavac but the two newcomers were young and at the time she adopted them she had just moved jobs and no longer had access to a practice that stocked the vaccine
The unvaccinated youngsters died suddenly with no symptoms and tests were sent off that gave confirmation of the presence of RVHD2'
