Vet recommendations

Post by Hunnybunny2007 »

I thought it would be a good idea for people to recommend rabbit savvy vets - If you put the vets you use, I'll collate them into a list.

I use

Vets name: Gamston Vets for Pets - either Rachel or Annie
Area: Nottinghamshamshire
Contact details: http://www.vets.co.uk/find-a-practice/v ... s-gamston/ Tel: 01159816262

Great with rabbits and guinea pigs, reasonable prices.

Great idea :-bd

Although I am no longer able to use my previous vet, I feel they should be added to your list for the care, support & dedication they showed to Roo

I use Cedar vets. They have 2 smaller branches, and a 24/7 hospital, which offers a fab service.

There are quite a few vets there, and all seem to have a good grasp of bunny basics, although there are a couple I prefer to see with The Boys and Her Ladyship.

I recommend my vets, Donview vets, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. They are great all round vets, great facilities and reasonably priced.

I recommend Abbey Vets and Hares and Hounds in Durham, both have been brilliant with Oscar and Jessie :)

I use the Cambridge Veterinary Group, Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge, CB1 7BS. Tel: 01223 249331

Rio and Pom's vet is Marion Ford, who is fantastic with rabbits, I can't recommend her highly enough (although she does make comments about Rio's weight which he could do without :)) ).

Jill Pearson at the practice is also very good.

I can thoroughly recommend de Montfort Veterinary Surgery in Evesham, Worcestershire.
01386 446095.

I have used them for over 16 years and found them very, very good.

There is one vet called Andy Barside who is a wonderful bunny savvy vet. They are all good, but Andy specialises in bunnies.....and he's quite cute himself!!! :ymblushing: :ymblushing:
