I couldn't recommend Frances Harcourt Brown in Harrogate more highly ^:)^

N.H. and F.M. Harcourt-Brown
30 Crab Lane
Harrogate
North Yorkshire
HG1 3BE

She is one of very few recognised rabbit specialists in the world! She has a made a major contribution to the advancement of rabbit medicine and any decent rabbit vet will own her textbook of rabbit medicine.

We take any Camp Nibble buns with complex problems to Frances and she works miracles. To us she is superwoman and we are actually slightly in love with her ha! ha! :x

Helga wrote:I would recommend Your Vets to anyone in the Coventry area, Claire is the rabbit vet there and to be honest we always feel in good hands with most of the vets there, they seem to be well clued up with rabbit care, but Claire is their rabbit vet and very thorough. If bunnies need a dental it can be a little awkward as the experienced rabbit vet Rebecca has gone on to night shifts so if they need a dental they have to booked in with her in advance but on the plus side she can offer concsious dental (I know they are controversial but for our buns they have been an enormous help).
Completely agree with the above and Claire is learning to do the concious dentals as well so hopefully there will be a day shift vet who can do them soon.

I can highly recommend Paula Bailey at the Animal House vets in Warwick (she is also in Rugby once a month usually on a Saturday). She has helped most of my bunnies at one point or another, and certainly knows her stuff! She is training Holly and Abi at the Animal House Practise and I quite often see them for more run of the mill appointments and they work at Rugby more regularly which is better for me too.

Here's a link to their webiste:-

HopperHaven wrote:I highly recomend our vet Stephanie Tickle who works at Acorn Veterinary Centres which has practices in both Studley, Warwickshire and Alvechurch nr Birmingham. Stephanie has loads of experience from dealing with all our rabbits and also has a special interest in them.

And Pete Hazelor one of the practice owners is a dental specialist and is very good with rabbit's teeth.

this is a new website, and I have spotted quite a few of our animals in the photos:)
just to update this.......Stephanie has moved to the animal doctor in maypole Birmingham, but is still brilliant with rabbits!

I have finally found a great vet here.

Oldfield Park veterinary surgery
Very committed and if they don't know the answer straight away they will find it through their extensive network. Part of Bath vet group.
They never give up on an animal and will always consult with their extensive network.
