Think we might be saying bye to Libby U/D 7/11 she's gone

Our beautiful Libby was diagnosed with congestive heart failure about a month ago
She has been mouth breathing on & off each day since being diagnosed, but seemed to be doing ok & eating like a horse - she even gained some weight.
Sadly despite being on furosemide & fortekor to try to manage it, alongside ultra pen abx injections she has started to detoriate. We were at the vets Friday with her as she wouldn't eat her breakfast & she had all the usual gut meds etc, which we've continued over the weekend - but she hasn't picked up at all over the weekend.
She's now mouth breathing a lot more & is rapidly losing weight - I think sadly we may need to make a decision to let her go soon
She's almost 7 years old & I don't want to keep her going if it's not fair to do so, especially as we know she can't get better
