I would like to nominate these 3 little lads Dolphin, Beach and Seashore

Image

They arrived here when only 6 days old with their 2 sisters, Journey and Picnic, their mum, Seaside and older sister Shell . We didn't think Dolphin would live as he was the smallest and had been trampled by mum and older sister....but he made it :)

here they are on day they arrived

Mum and older sister are now neutered and both reserved and hopefully the young ones will soon be able to have their ops and go to new homes too!

As we have now announced the winner of the Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the month for August - Dolphin, Beach & Seashore from Honeybunnies, we are now opening up this thread for entries for the September Rescue Rabbit/Guinea Pig of the Month.

All our 21 Rescues are welcome to enter, even if you have won before. Your entry must include the animal/s story and at least 1 photo but more is good, you have until midnight on 31st August to get your entries in here.

Your entry can be a single rabbit or guinea pig, or it can be a pair or group that live together.

The winner will be chosen by the Pledge a Pound Team at the beginning of September and will win a £20.00 supermarket gift card for the Rescue to buy greens, herbs, supplies etc for the winner and the other animals at their Rescue.

Can I enter the lovely clover into September's rescue of the month . Clover came into rescue with her sister carrot who I've sadly had to separate due to severe bullying after being very neglected . Both are now thriving and coming on leaps and bounds.

CLOVER

We want to add in carrot as well she came in with clover but totally the opposite she was skin n bone no fur and big chunks missing . My vet gave me 10 days to work some magic before he started procedures like bloods x rays etc . When I took her back he said if he didn't know better he would of said I'd taken in another rabbit he couldn't believe the difference in her :) She's beautiful x

I would like to enter Jasper!

Jasper was found in a box on the street. Luckily for him, a kind hearted person found him and brought him in. His teeth are horrendous, he has a splay leg and he's very underweight. As well as that, he's got diarrhoea. He wants to move but he's struggling. He wants to eat, but he found it impossible. We took him straight to the vet and he has his teeth burred. Today, he has had his leg amputated, at a later date he will have a dental and later on, be neutered. He is very skinny, but the leg was causing pain so couldn't wait.
He is the sweetest little boy ever.
