That's great news :D I am so disapointed that it is so far away from me :( its not driveable really in one day for me :(
That's such a shame. It's been so well received by everyone that went, just such a shame it isn't accessible to everyone.

Have you seen the notes on All Ears Podcast? Not quite the same as going but useful all the same.

Thanks :) Yes I had seen the notes posted elsewhere on the internet and have read a lot of it, very interesting. Just wish FHB wasn't the only rabbit specialist in the country and that there was another one down here on the south coast.

Just five weeks now to go to this event and places available. It was a really amazing day in April and promises to be again in September.

"We're getting prepared for the next round of lecture courses. To book a place visit http://www.harcourt-brown.co.uk/rabbit-cpd. The vets practical sessions are almost fully booked. There are still places on the owner's day on September 26th. The timetable is slightly different from the course in April with a bit more time for questions and discussion. I will be bringing some rabbits skulls again so owners can see what happens to the teeth and bones in rabbits with dental disease. Twigs Way will also be there again. Copies of her book will be available to buy along with some forage for rabbits. Forage for owners will be tea, lots of cakes and sandwiches. The photo shows the audience in April."

Jason Burgess in Gloucester doesn't advertise as a rabbit specialist but he is. (He's looked after our rabbits for about 20years too)

Frances HB is the only vet in the UK accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as "Specialist in Rabbit Medicine and Surgery", it's a title that has to be applied for (http://www.rcvs.org.uk/education/specialist-status/).

I have however seen a post by RWAF on another forum stating that we have ?12 specialists in the UK but I don't know whose on that list and what their accreditation is, but would be interested to know.

Yes that would be very interesting to know who the 12 on the list are, our most local expert is John Chitty who a lot of vets on the south coast refer rabbits and other small exotics too, although he doesn't just specialise in rabbits he seems to specialise in small exotic animals and does birds, reptiles and mammals. My rabbits xrays and cases have been referred to him many times and he seems to know his stuff, but would be even better if he we had someone like FHB closer to us down here ;)
