In March, Beloved Rabbits took in 11 surrendered rabbits and had 15 rescue bunnies hop off to forever homes. We also sadly had 41 additional rehoming requests for a total of 82 rabbits.
We have been focusing on upcoming fundraising events since, as we're still in the midst of the rabbit welfare crisis, every penny counts more than ever. We are preparing for the Glasgow Uni Vet School Rodeo on 22nd April and we also have a few volunteers signed up to do the Glasgow Kiltwalk. We also have a volunteer doing a 4 part sponsored cycle and links to donate to this will be on our social media platforms.
We also recently joined the Clean Up Scotland campaign and helped with litter pickup in Kirkintilloch in the areas surrounding The Bunny Bothy and The Hoppy Hub on Saturday 25th March. This was a great opportunity for volunteers to get to know each other!
