Baby Blue Bee Bunnies July & Aug 22 Update

Post by BabyBlueBeeBunniesLk »

It's been an extremely busy couple of months at the rescue. The avalanche of surrender requests continues and the escalating cost crisis is definitely driving a surge of requests, also the condition of the bunnies arriving into rescue appears to be deteriorating as people struggle with rising vet costs.

In July we took in another 17 rabbits with 11 adoptions hopping off to their new forever homes, and in August another 11 bunnies joined us including our newest sanctuary resident Granny Bessie who will be seeing out our retirement with us at the grand old age of 14, her birthday is next month so we will make sure this special girl is spoiled.
We also at very short notice after contact from the organisers offered support to the team rescuing the bunnies from the T&S farm closure, however we were stood down as the bunnies were going to closer rescues, just as well as the next day we were asked to take in another litter of babies. Look out for updates on our newest little buns soon.

Our Fundraising team have been very busy with our summer auction and raffle raising much needed funds for vet bills etc. In addition we have our Ebay clothes sale, a way to raise funds and be sustainable at the same time with some gorgeous excellent quality clothes up for sale. Hop over and have a look

Our education team are also hard at work with our ongoing campaigns and when there's a minute our team are getting autumn forage harvests in and winter prep completed.
As always we are eternally grateful for the team at PaP and their supporters continuing support without it we would really struggle.
