Nov update

Hello all, we have had a very small flurry of adoptions this month with 3 pairs of guinea pigs off to their furever homes!

We had a large group of guinea pigs returned to us which was a huge problem in terms of creating a whole new area just to house them back in HQ but as always we offer back up for life so we made it work!

We also had a large intake of "fancy mice" which definitely were not fancy mice, they were actually multimammates and there was 44 of them! We are incredibly grateful to the fellow rescues who took on 32 of the multi's leaving us with the 4 parents and 8 female babies, as cute as they are we already know that they wont be easy to get adopted.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Nibbles, see you next month.

Merry Christmas!

December update!

The run up to christmas was busy for Nibbles with us running our own auction to raise funds for the rescue and wrapping up all the admin ready for the rescue to close over christmas, obviously the rescue still does all day to day tasks of looking after all the animals but admin jobs are put on hold to let everyone have a bit of a breather!

We did say goodbye to Darcey, one of our newer buns who hopped off with a member of staff, fingers crossed for a successful bond with her resident bun. We also waved off 4 Multimammate Mice who are now living with another member of staff!

We had 44 Multimammate's arrive with us at the end of November, dad has already been neutered and now just needs to wait it out till hopefully re-joining the ladies!

With 2023 upon us, I just wanted to thank everyone for their generous support during 2022. Your support has helped us continue to care for so many Rabbits and Rodents, we really are incredibly grateful for all you have done.

I hope this year is kind to all rescues but have a feeling we will be seeing the post-lockdown chaos continue.
