This month we have taken in 10 surrenders and 21 bunnies have hopped off to their new homes.
We have recently put out an appeal for foster carers in Glasgow Live newspaper and are delighted to have had a spike in enquiries as a result, as more foster spaces means we can help more bunnies! Although not everyone applying will be able to meet the requirements for space and transport, we hope to be welcoming some new volunteers to the team soon.
We also launched our 'Name a Rescue Rabbit' campaign, where our supporters can get involved by registering their suggested name(s) on our website for a £2 donation, and we will use these name suggestions throughout the year for our buns on arrival to the rescue. We hope that as well as helping raise much needed funds to care for the bunnies, it is a fun way for people to engage with the charity and feel part of the nicknaming process - which, in our view, is important as it signifies a new start for the rabbits!
