Baby Blue Bee Bunnies August

Post by BabyBlueBeeBunniesLk »

August went by in a flash at BBBB. We had 19 bunnies at the rescue on daily meds with 6 of those on hourly feeds and medication. This has also meant almost daily vet trips to our exotic vet specialists at Royal Dick Vet School.

We had 8 bunnies surrendered to us
7 added to our waiting list
A number of adoptions, will confirm how many in our next update as our Director has been busy with the ill bunnies.
There does seem a sad trend though of bunnies being surrendered not being in the best of health as well as a substantial increase in enquiries as restrictions ended.

Exciting times with:
1. Our best ever Summer raffle running all of August
2. Our brilliant revamp of our website bringing the education and the rescue work we do to the forefront of it
3. Our #endextreme breeding campaign running on social media
4. Our new enclosures finally arriving at the rescue
5. Our relaunch of our One Hop Shop
6. Bimbus being PaP bunny of the month

September and Autumn brings our winter prep and continuing to build on the great work of the summer.
We are lucky to have a great volunteer team, amazing partnerships with Pledge a Pound and others.

Thank you to PaP as always for your brilliant support we greatly appreciate it.
