Beloved Rabbits March Update

Post by fb_x »

We have had a busy month at Beloved Rabbits - over the past few weeks we have taken in 44 new arrivals and seen 27 bunnies hop off to new homes! We dealt with an emergency intake which saw 22 rabbits arrive in one day, 7 adults and 14 kits. Despite the huge pressure this places on us for space in the rescue we couldn't say no to the request for help and our volunteers sprung into action with plans to get them in. Their foster carers have reported that they are settling in well and getting into every nook and cranny as only tiny kits can do! Mums and dads are also doing well.

We have a few volunteers signing up to do the Kiltwalk and small teams planning activities together to fundraise as lockdown restrictions allow. We have also made plans for our Care Teams to return to full capacity at the Hub as restrictions ease over the coming weeks which we are really looking forward to. A positive update from us this month and we hope that other rescues are also able to plan a return to 'normal' soon.
