Beloved Rabbits January Update

Post by fb_x »

This month, we have taken in 20 bunnies, and are delighted to have seen 24 hop off to new homes. Sadly we have also had 27 additions to our waiting list.

Under to the current lockdown restrictions our Hub is still operating to support our rescue and rehoming work, however we have reduced the number of volunteers on site and have suspended our Bonding Bootcamp service until restrictions are eased. We have continued to offer phone and video bonding consultations in place of face to face support, and have received really positive feedback from adopters and members of the public - as the process of bonding can be stressful, we're glad that we're still able to provide support to people in this way. It's been a tough start to the new year, but we hope that over the next few months things improve for all rescues.

Huge thanks also to the Pledge a Pound team for the gift donation - these are gratefully received and will be distributed throughout the foster network for the bunnies in our care. :)

Well done for all those you have managed to rehome so far, and for continuing to give support to rabbit owners by telephone. :)
