Apologies that we're a couple of days late in our update. OK, so where to start as its been such a busy month at Binky Buns.
We had our Arna piggy undergo surgery to neuter her as she has two ovarian cysts. They turned out to hold a huge 20ml of fluid each and had to be drained prior to her hysterectomy. She also had a lump removed, that we sent for histology, and thankfully it is benign. Within a week and a half or so of her operation, Arna lost her best friend Pip - We are gutted about Pip as she wad a beautiful soul. In between all of this, we took in our Thor piggy who was in a terrible state - He was half the weight he should be, covered in bites and scratches and had a lump on his hip bone. Our little lad, under the care of our wonderful vet and strong team, is on the road to recovery and has gained weight and his skin has started to heal. Thor and Arna are currently in the process of bonding/dating so we're hopeful that this will be a match for them. It feels a little like the circle of life for us at the moment.
Bun wise, Frankie and Elsa went to their long term foster home after Elsa recovered from her neuter. We're happy to report that they are as loved up as ever.
