This month we took in 22 surrendered rabbits and rehomed 23 to new homes - sadly we have also seen our waiting list increase with the addition of 34 rabbits, but we expected this as we always see an increase in rehoming requests at this time of year.
Our main focus this month has been limiting the impact of the recent Covid-19 restrictions on our services, and we are becoming used to regularly restructuring in order to still meet the needs of the rabbits in our care despite this. We have moved back to contactless appointments for the time being, and have put protocols in place so that we can continue to carry out adoptions, surrenders, and other appointments safely. Unfortunately we cannot offer face to face bonding support, however we continue to offer various alternatives such as phone and video consultations and this is working well.
I'm sure that other rescues are facing the same issues and we hope that everyone is coping with these difficult times.
