barc bunnies .....july 2019

Post by bunnymadhouse »

Apologies (again) for not being around much and forgetting to update ...its not that i dont appreciate your work but im totaly run off my feet with work and rescue and i fall into bed exhausted every day without doing half the things that need doing .

so an update now while i am here ...

we are 2 fosterers down at barc ... one due the vhd2 outbreak (fosterer now in quarantine )
and another fosterer taking a break .
so that just leaves me and my main fosterer Alison.

this is making life difficult but we are soldiering on .

our rehoming ios going ok , although it has slowed in the last 2 weeks .

our payment from the Summer fundraising will go to neuter / spay our yankie babies . Reece, baby ruth , Twinkie and Tootsie.

Thank you for your update :)

I was so sorry to hear about the VHD2 outbreak - it's must have been heartbreaking for your foster carer to have to witness this :(
I've also been following Beryls ups and downs, I hope she's now okay :)

BARC will be entered into our July draw - good luck

Beryl will never get better . we have to take one day at a time . but as long as she has more good days than bad then thats ok .

barc
money is very tight here at barc at the moment after 4 months of huge vet bills . As a result of this ... and our fosterer situation , we are having to keep our intakes low for a while .
we have also had to up our adoption fee from £55 to £60 .

As always vaccination is a priority .. along with vet care for poorly buns .
so we are relying more and more on donations of litter , food and hay .

thank you for all your hard work . x

It is the end of an era at Barc .

I'm here with sad news to say Barc has lost its Queen Bez .

Sadly Beryl had to be helped over rainbow bridge on Friday .

I'm totally heartbroken .

The the rescue bunnies are helping me carry on .

This weekend has seen 2 bunnies to go to new homes and one new bunny arrive .
