Thank you to Pledge a Pound and everyone that donates or fundraises for all the rescues. You are all amazing.

We are a charity based in Cornwall and have a 2 acre site. Our main animals are rabbits and guinea pigs with a couple of goats, sheep, poultry and 2 cats. The shelter relies solely on public donations to remain open. Due to myself having a break down (the workload at the shelter is intense) last year we also have to try and raise money to keep one employee, who works for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Last year we took in 240 animals, mainly rabbits and guinea pigs and rehomed 3/4 of these.

Rehoming 180 is a marvellous achievement-well done!
I do hope you will find other volunteers to alleviate the pressure in 2019.

Well done for all the hard work you've put into rehoming so many unwanted animals, it's so sad that the numbers are so high, with no sign of getting better
