Halfpenny farm update.

Post by Halfpenny »

It’s been a busy start to the year. We took in 3 new bunnies before Christmas and 6 female guinea pigs. We have also agreed to another 6 girls, so hope to have a herd of 13 females ( we had old opal on her own until we took in the other 6 girls).
The most recent bunny, Trible the toothless needs a dental and I suspect the 2 females need to be spayed, although I was told they were!
They have all had the filivac vaccine but need to get a myxo vaccine too.
Unfortunately our space has been reduced after a couple of trees were blown over in the storm and landed on one of our sheds. We are waiting to find out what the insurance will cover, they may not pay for the tree removal which may be about £1500, hopefully they will repair the shed or replace it..... waiting to find out!

Thank you for the New Year update, I know how busy you always are at Halfpenny Farm :) I hope the insurance covers the cost of the tree damage and replace the shed :)
I look forward to hearing more updates :)

Halfpenny sanctuary will be entered into Januarys draw - good luck :)
